Southern Regional Medical Center and Henry Medical Center

If your condition worsens to the point that you need to be admitted to the hospital, you probably will not have to ask a doctor to admit you; your doctor will already be in the process of doing that. If you are a patient of Southeastern Primary Care Specialists, and you are admitted to the hospital from an outside source, due to a more time-sensitive or severe circumstance, a physician from Southeastern Primary Care Specialists will be assigned to come by and see you. We keep a daily rotation of at least one of our Physicians to our admitting hospitals: Southern Regional Medical Center and Henry Medical Center. If hospitalization is required, you will be referred to one of these facilities, depending on which of our Primary Care facilities you are coming from, which facility you are affiliated with, or perhaps what location you happen to be in when the circumstance arises.

It is our hope that your condition will never escalate to the point of hospitalization. But if things do get to that point, we make it a point to do everything we can to help the admitting process go as smoothly as possible, and to make you feel safe, connected, and cared for. Our offices can always let you know which particular doctor is on schedule to be at your particular admitted facility. If you have any further questions regarding admitting procedures, or if you’ve already been admitted to a hospital by one of our doctors and need to speak with Southeastern Primary Care Specialists, please contact us!
